Old Man with a Hat
Clear this up please. The son of the original owner now owns the car?
Has the father and mother passed?
Has the father and mother passed?
I’ll post some pics of the other side.@tallzag
14:25 You showed us the stripe under the GT, however you did not show us the comparison of the stripe and downhill drop of the strobe on the opposite fender. Could you show us the comparison. It would also be nice to know if the front of the front fenders are original paint or if the stripe was replaced.
Was going to but you have to keep in mind the vast majority of the people watching the video are not hard core c body guys and the video was already 40 minutes so I didn’t get back to it. Video was already super long. Here is a pic of the sheet. Thanks for going over the trim tag on PH23V0D154863 .
@ 20:18 you mention that you would do a broadcast sheet breakdown later, will that include us?
Father is still alive and well, he just gifted the car to his son at Christmas this year and he contacted me about finding out more info on it. After talking to him he told me he wanted Rocket Restorations to fix up the car and get it back on the road.Clear this up please. The son of the original owner now owns the car?

Totally understand. Was going to but you have to keep in mind the vast majority of the people watching the video are not hard core c body guys and the video was already 40 minutes so I didn’t get back to it. Video was already super long. Here is a pic of the sheet.
Haven’t pulled out the rear seat yet. The original vinyl is a little brittle so after talking with @Fury Pursuit we decided it would be a good idea to pull the front seats first to get more room to get the rear seat out. I’ll post more bs pics later. Problem with the front seats are the nuts are frozen so trying to be very very careful so we don’t break a stud getting them out.Totally understand.
That's boring stuff for most folk.
When you get a chance I am sure there are a few here that would love to see a few pics of the sheet that are a little more readable.
Did a second sheet surface from the rear seat, under the carpet or behind the glove box?
I go over it in the video but think they are at least partially original paint. The passenger 1/4 has a big repair on it so would not surprise me at all if they redid all the stripes when that happened. The driver door has a repair as well and the front of the hood.Did the front fenders, specifically the front of the fenders check out for original paint?
That makes sense.would not surprise me at all if they redid all the stripes when that happened.
I believe both FK3 cars, the B3 & this R6 red one all retain the #s engine. The magazine car has its original 672 transmission and I did find a post on moparts(?) from like a decade ago that someone did know at one point the whereabouts of the A4 cars engine but the trail goes cold from there..As it stands today, from memory (I have it in my registry; not with me now) think we are up to 14 known VINS, (includes one engine sans car) and 3 with matching numbers. (Charles? BillyFury? can confirm)
I've got the original 70 Sport Fury 6BBL engine, (thanks to Tom & Rocket for discovering it), if somebody has the car, and can verify the car. I will give the 6BBL engine to you. Go find it!!!
Any chance you have the VIN? @billyfuryHere is a picture from 71 of my oldmans 6bbl GT bought new at Alsip Chrysler Plymouth in Oak Lawn IL. I know the car survived to the late 70s.

No. The car is probably long gone. Burnt Orange with burnt orange interior with console.
This car came from the factory with front drum brakes?
Power front drum.
