How did you do that?

scanned the blank doc to a Word file. added boxes on each line, then made the boxes transparent and typed in them. My only problem was I could not find the exact font.

got the F Series 1970 blank from ebay.

Yup on a 69 300 parts car. One on each side. Mostly gone from weather...but still legible in certain areas.

Spectacular! I used to own an old IBM "Selectric" type-writer, I bet that would have been spot-on.

Try http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/.

Cut a small piece out of the digital picture (optimally with as many different letters as possible) and upload it there. The Website will tell you the best fitting fonts.

According to Wikipedia, it was introduced in 1970. I would think it would be unlikely that Chrysler would have the latest printing tech. Anyone have a close up of the characters on an original?

u imagined wrong.i only smack men who dress like women. i thought the whole thing about finding the build sheet for your car hidden was because it was original to the car and exciting to find the original one complete with spring marks. now we are buying blank ones on ebay and filling them out. what the **** is this all about.

there are blank Build Sheets out there. You can get one and make your own. Ya, its not original but you do have something. I have the original and a reproduction one that I made up. I keep them in a binder as a Before and After. Looks pretty damn good of you ask me.
