Car names

The "Deer Slayer" because I've hit and killed 2 deer (so far) with my 66 Polara. Maybe I should drive that when I go hunting, at least I'd get something during the season.

X2!!!:yes_no::yes_no:

...unless you want to save it...what's your offer?:poke:

Is the car still like it was in your other thread?
You wrote the engine doesn't smoke but has a lot of blow by, how bad is it?
Was there enough antifreeze in it when it got so cold this winter?

What would it take to buy the car (complete)?
Do you have any pics from underneath (frame rails, floors)?
Rear valance seems to be shot, how is the rear extension from underneath?
How is the trunk rail area? Any rust holes from the pine needles?

I really don't want that this one dies.

She was named years ago by some friends "Miss Jackson", but when I go out into the garage it's "hi ol' girl" to me.

Usually I don't name cars but when I bought my Imperial some of my friends said I will probably spend more time with my new car then with my girlfriend so I should name the car after her... But obviously she didn't like this idea, so I decided to name her Jacky.

Sorry Alan for not putting this picture into the "me and my car" thread also. It's just because I can't find it :gah:

My wagon is simply..."The wagon".

My 48 Desoto is "Fernando"....Named by a member on another board, who jokingly called it that and said it was named after Hernando De Soto's brother or cousin...;) It stuck with me after that.

My 84 Cummins W350 crewcab conversion was named by my daughters....it's called "Patches". :)

I had a 72 Demon who I called...."The deadly dodge dart duster demon dully deluxe"....Yeah it was a mouthful...:tongue5:

My 78 Malibu was called..."The death car" or "The money car". The first name came form my wife (girlfriend at the time) almost dying of carbon monoxide poisoning while sitting it it trying to stay warm, while I was shooting the $**** with a car friend. The second name came from me driving that car like it was on fire...and it never cost me more then a dime to keep it on the road!!
