This car for now, decided to invest in the 440 a bit more. Going to send it to the machine shop and essentially tell my machinist Matt to check everything twice and go from there. Thinking I may go as far as to have it balanced....
So for now a mild 318 is what will be in this car. The block is the same one it left Delaware with in 73..

Cleaned more parts at work in the hydrosonic cleaner...man I need one for at home...went to install the Pistons and realized there was an issue with my brand new ring set....I'll let you guys guess..

looks like all the rings are there. Wrong bore size is my guess.
Only 15 of the chrome sealing steels..I was not amused..
