Yes I did Alan... lived in the Salt belt all my life... never seen it creep up into this area so badly though..Clogged drains...leads to organic material build up that sponges up moisture and salt ...and then rot comes. If the car was driven in the Ontario salt, then that is absorbed in the "soil" that is created in the cowl making it exponentially worse.
