I have a 1969 new yorker with original exhaust manifolds 2562464 on the right side and 2463107. everything i lookup says those part numbers should be a 2 1/4 outlet, I bought a new stock exhaust system and it is 2 1/4 flanges. The problem is my exhaust manifolds I have are a 2" discharge outlet??? Is this correct? It was originally a "Y" pipe to a single exhaust.

Those part numbers are for the 350 hp log style manifolds used on the 383, 413 and 440. They will usually have a 2 1/4" outlet. The 2 1/2" outlets were used with the TNT or Magnum manifolds. There should not be any difference between the Y pipe or dual exhaust system as both used the same manifold part number. See if the flange bolt pattern is the same by checking it against the flange mount on you Y pipe. If the bolt pattern is the same, the exhaust you bought should fit. Some exhaust systems used an inner collar on the flange to keep the donut from blowing out.

Thank you for the reply... Here is what i have. I attached a picture of my original 'Y" pipe flange and manifolds

That sure does look like a 2" connection. If the replacement exhaust will bolt up, you might have to use a 2" donut.

Well, a buddy of mine stopped by with a pair of 69 H.P. manifolds. out of a wagon. The pass. side fit like it should on the exhaust flange with my new exhaust kit. The drivers not so much. it appears it's up about an inch higher and slightly different angle. Does anyone know what 'C" body used the H.P. manifolds? 300? Id like to try to use them now i have them on the car.
