First Drive in 32 years.

I spend a lot of time in the car so I do audible.com. 2 books a month for 20 bucks. I do mostly business books (Malcolm Gladwell type stuff) but I just finished listening to 1984. What a great book.

I thought audio books were mostly for the visually impaired. Perhaps that explains why you cannot appreciate any color that isn't black.

Do you really think you should be behind the wheel if you cannot see? :poke:

:laughing4: Oh boy.

My red car would be really cool if it wasn't such a POS.

Can't remember if these cars had the adjustable rod or not...

Any where to find out if the booster has an adjustable rod without removing the master. I did manage to get some more air out of the lines. There is still pretty good movement in the pedal before the brakes are engaged. They feel great otherwise. Once I get to that point it feels normal. I can pump it and it never engages any sooner than the same point in the first push.

I also cleaned up the linkage from the carb to the transmission. The transmission is working great now, it wasn't down shifting properly before, now it's great. I got my new leaf spring today. I know what I'm doing this weekend.

I put another 40 miles on it today with the top up. I was very surprised how quiet it was inside. All the seals are in great shape and hardly any wind noise.

If you can contort yourself like a 14 YO Russian Olympic gymnast, you can disconnect the rod at the brake pedal and pull it out and check. But I think a FSM a/o Parts Book is easier.

Oh your gonna love those new springs........ Did you get new hardware, U bolts, shackle bolts etc? If not do yourself a favor and lubricate the hell out of every nut and thread with WD40 or your favorite nut buster. If not you will surely break a few bolts and hold the project up.

So that's why NJ license plate says "Garden State", they fix their cars in the garden. :)

Oh that was rough .......no place to keep the car. I rolled around in the mud on that car for a long time

I still mostly roll around or crawl under it in the garage and a den that's not deep enough. Need a new house with more room.

I didn't mention him to cause you to start a pissing contest. Sheesh.
