Just don't think that's something you want to tinker with in your retirement.

I ordered "stock height, heavy duty (one extra leaf)" so the stance is the same. Rides about the same, maybe a touch firmer. The only thing that changed is I eliminated the ONE squeeky bushing.How did that work out for ya Stan. Did it change the cars stance any.....?
Yeah, Im thinking about going that route too.IMHO those dust shields are optional. I did away with them when I did the swap on my 66 for the same reason. No ill effects as far as I can tell.
They don't repro the C-body ones AFAIK.

BIG shiny disc brakes...throw contents of back seat clear thru the windshield now, not a prob.
We can wait for 70_Nports reply, but I bet it will be 1/2 of Summits price, and factory equipmentif you dont mind me asking about how much did everything end up costing? I havent tried to price everything out yet but summit racing has a kit and was wondering if it was worth what they are asking.
