Getting a little boring.......

Iknew you would Ross, you're entitled....

We all saw the whole thing unfold and if the posts werent deleted, i'd refer you to them

I disagree. I saw the whole thing unfold & Carsten is not to blame. He only defends sB against euro bashing for the most part. I agree with Carsten on that point too & he has been gracious enough to remain quiet in spite of some members insistence on euro bashing.

What exactly are you defining as euro bashing? I don't see any bashing at all. A few members verbally said that they don't like to see American iron leaving the U.S.?

and sometimes some fer-ners then stick our nose it it by implying "ha-ha, we appreciate them more than you do".
Don't deny it. There's a whole lot of gloating going on.

Why are you here, sB?
No. Really. Really why are you here.
Now's the time to come clean and really tell us why you stay here?

but sad to say I didn’t turned out to be that good as they promised.

so today I would say because it is therapy. instead of opening the television after a hard workday it is relaxing coming here and discuss with you. at the same time are my english reading and writing skills getting much better. trying to figure out postings like these :

“Why is EVERY effen post made by you rediculing anything and everything other members say or do.
You're only purpose here is to demean other people and stereotyping everyone here as the typical 'ugly Americans' as if you are so superior you are the only one who gets it and you know best. How about going to some other C-body forum

the posting of ads is kinda cool but i hate when an ad is reposted if you find a way to fix this then post away

Hey assB, do you realize how much I have learned about all C-bodies, Slabs, Fusies, and Formals, because of the posting of For Sale ads.
The ads lead to a discussion of the cars and I have learned more from the discussions than I could working on them for another fifty years.
The For Sale ads are a treasure cove of trivia, minutae, and, facts & figures.
Bring them on within the guidelines that Joey has asked for.
Besides, they have also led to more than one sale of the car.

I rarely search craigslist, but I bought a '68 300 from a link that Stan posted here, so yes it is useful.

Thank you again Stan.

You're more than welcome.
That makes six of you at last count that I have posted For Sales and a member has bought them.
Two here (Actually three I think).
Two on MoparFins
One on The Yahoo New Yorker Group, and..
One on MassMopar.

I try not to spam by simply reposting a zillion For Sales as I do my morning search.
I keep it in my mind,
1. The unusual a/o rare to spark discussion.
2. Ones that I know other members are looking for.
3. Relevant topic cars.

If I'm spamming, let me know with a good dope slap.

noticed that you have edited from Stans posting the word said by people that are losing an argument”

there are two more that needs editing :

“Start your own forum. This place is what it is and will stay that way.
You're not going to change anything here one iota by demeaning and rediculing in every post you make.
You have never once been constructive or supportive. You have contributed nothing. Ever. So, STFU.”

“I've watched Dan over the years travel the circuit with his Medicine Show. Sometimes I'm amused by his philosophy of "There's no such thing as bad publicity", but becoming more disturbed of late of his not knowing when to STFU and put it to bed.

Partly our fault in that we're the straight men feeding him lines when there's no audience anymore. The only ones watching this one trick pony are the the staff. Everyone's gone home.

There is not one person left on this planet that is looking for this car that doesn't know about it now. None. Zero. Nada.
The bottom of the barrel is scraped clean and still no one is remotely interested.
Dan: It's monetarily worthless. It's only dubious value is as your stage in seeking notoriety. Chuckle over your brief run here at FCBO. I can't think of a suitable next stop for you but I know you are thinking of where to go next. you are doing right by not answering to useless postings

from the front page :

"Inside you'll find a community full of dedicated Classic Mopar Automobiles and their owners.

so i must have atleast one.
you might even have seen it, but i don't have any need to tell something about it.

one of those saved from america.
could have been donk or junk but is now accepted as a historical vehicle.

Thanks and it is correct. I wrote it once before, I am not the lawyer/defender of superB but support him if he gets attacked for the wrong reasons, like bashing foreigners.

Bob, it is ok if you don't like leaving them the US. If you can name a reason.
There was bashing on europeans, too. Sentences like ie "save the car from a life in prison" aren't friendly.
Both sides had their share of being unfair to eachother.

I really still don't get it why the -relativly small- group of C-body-enthusiasts doesn't stay closer together but likes to hammer on eachother. Those who followed similar discussions on another huge mopar-board should know that the majority felt it doesn't matter were you live, as long as you share the same hobby.

Stan,
whatever dictionary I use, I can't find the word "fer-ners" but think you mean foreigners. If you mean a certain person: call him out and don't blame a group.

Honestly: I think C-Bodies are more appreciated overhere than they are in the US. Not from the group of enthusiasts in the US but from the majority. At Mopar-Shows in the US, the amount of C-bodies being in there is still very small compared to the amount which was built/does exist. And compared to all the B-&E-Bodys.

Still today C-Bodies are going to die in the US for engine transplants, in demo derbys etc.

There is a difference to europe. Something which does not happen here because they are more expensive (valuable). Overhere a lot of cars get resurrected which would die in the US. At the german Mopar Nats C-Bodys make 30-35% percent of the participants.

Having that said there is no kind of gloating going on (from me). I really feel sorry about it. If they would be more popular in the US more of them would survive and not get destroyed. That is something I care about and not WHERE it does survive
