Helo ladies an gentleman,
here comes my introduction and i'll introduce my Chrysler New Yorker:
Yeaaaa. I realize that the 1973 front isn't for everyone. Or the 4 doors. But for me it's just the right thing
! The car is an 100% Survivor. Nothing changed, except the radio.
So far I haven't found anything that's messed up or screwed up. Paint original, vinyl roof ok except for 2 small spots (nothing crunchy), trunk no water ingress/rust.
~76,500 MLS, credible but not verifiable.
I live in germany (Koblenz) and bought my NY in April 2023. It came from Athol, Idaho to Europe in Dec. 2021 and got his german historic car licence in 2022.

Maintenance backlog, dirty as usual, cracks in the armrests on the driver's side, cracks in the steering wheel, the exhaust is a US homebrew job (done pretty bad), a lot of rust film. Heating disconected - new heater core is already in my stock ;). I found it due to recommend from this forum.

Pictures taken at the TÜV for an appraisal. Everything worked fine (except heating + air conditioning). He actually got a VIN engraved on the front of the frame, I hadn't even seen it before.
I'm amazed at how good it is after 50(!) years without a restoration

The Big Block ist spending WAY to much gas (at least
11,48 Gallons per 100 mls(US)) The ignition adjustment via the vacuum unit works again (replaced it).
Ignition is flashed warm with transmission in N and ignition timing deducted. Well in cold and only 5min time he was at +5 degrees instead of -10. That COULD explain the thirst.
Distributor twisted a bit... flashed off...-10+/-2.5 check. Immediately run more powerfully. But could only test 1km.

Then he got a dashboard cover for a fortune, because the original dashboard is still great after 50 years and should stay that way. I think the carpet is cool
