From your pictures you will need the mounting bracket, and the connecting arm. Your Welcome.
Unless that extension stand with the cable clamp is a bolt on.From your pictures you will need the mounting bracket, and the connecting arm. Your Welcome.
Good catch. It looked like it was all welded when I first saw it. Now lets hope the car did not start out as a 2 bbl.Unless that extension stand with the cable clamp is a bolt on.

The mount for a 2bbl, is different than the one for a 4bbl. The 4bbl carb sit more toward the front of the engine. You would be better off getting a complete 4bbl system from Detmatt.According to the car codes, it was a 2bbl from factory.

I am talking about the throttle linkage. A 2bbl throttle linkage sits in a different location than a 4 bbl.Even though I have a 4bbl on it right now and it runs fine?

I used the summit throttle and kickdown cable kit, which looks a lot like the Amazon one that was linked. It worked fine, but took a lot of adjustingI agree my friend, but I have no idea what to buy and have been asking for some help. So while I figure that out, I might as well buy some cheap stuff and just try to learn it.
