Here we go again...

How about Schitts Creek? That show cracks me up!

Have you watched it? If you haven't, start from the beginning of season 1. That's the only way you'll get the premise.

Found out the car has a Sure-Grip...

Sweet, that is a nice surprise. Looks like you are getting closer to having just scrap metal left.

Well there's your problem, the center of the ar is missing.

Yes , Schitts creek is really funny. The gay son is actually Eugene Levi's son and his daughter is the waitress at the diner. I am looking forward to the next season. I hope it keeps going. Anything with Eugene Levi is funny to me.
Check out "Best in Show".

Everyone should check out "Best In Show" if you haven't already done so.

Actually, being a Canadian car, it's not a surprise. Many folks optioned the sure grip to deal with the snow.
It's the first Windsor built car I've had that has had a Sure-Grip. But it's also the first Northern Ontario car I've had.

Sure grip? Nice. Can we assume that will be going into your project convertible?
Yes it will be Fred, both cars will have Sure-Grips now.

In my experience, there is a good percentage of Canadian Sure Grip Mopars from back in the day...often where you least expect to find them, behind mundane engine combos like slant 6s and 318s in old farmer cars (often Fury I 4 dr sedans) with few options. People often overlooked the diff in these cars because they presumed them to be peg legs. I found quite a few that way.

At the prompting of this thread I had to investigate the hip. I looked at one youtube. It was their final song or something like that. The music sounded like something I'd like but Gordy was wearing aluminum pants and I just couldn't make my mind get past this. All I kept thinking about was his aluminum pants! My own nut sack started getting sympathy sweats. I felt like reaching through my phone screen and tearing a hole to provide a little ventilation.
I'll try another video later. After I take a shower. :D
I think you will need more beer for this tear down. Lots more beer.
Really is too bad the car had termites. It would have been super nice driving down the road. I can't imagine what it was like driving down the road if it had this kind of rot while still being driven. Isn't Canada really tough on inspecting cars for rust?

Everything depends on where you live, same as you. In Ontario a car only gets inspected when it gets registered, not on renewals. In Alberta, only when a vehicle is first registered in the province.

Here in my SE NC county we don't need inspections for car registered as a classic fwiw. Also very lax locally on emissions just as I like it.
I'd still love to know if the car was rotten when driven last or did it get that way sitting?
