How rare is a 2 door 73 Monaco?

Aahh, my mistake. Anyway, last page's Monaco is very nice in purple comparing to the Polara vert I was talking about...

A matter of taste of course.

These are looking pretty good.....

I am becoming slightly obsessed with the 72/73 Monaco. I found another picture of one of the Monaco cars listed earlier, nice one with the hood down. It lists the car as a '72. Here is the question, is there any difference between the two if you take off the 5 mph bumper guards?

I haven't noticed any differences in the grille (bumper guards excluded)... Just different tail lights of course and side trim, which gets wider from the front end to the rear end.

From a driving perspective, the 73 is more quiet due to more sound deadening in the body. I have had both in the past and the difference was noticeable. I really do not mind the bumper guards as they were done reasonably well, giving it kind of a tougher look in the front, adding to the overall imposing styling up there.

Funny, I had been wanting to start a thread asking if anybody on here owned a 72-73 Monaco because I think they're AWESOME.

I love the front ends with the fold-down headlights, and love the rear too.

Like most, never have seen one in person, but I want one!

Edit: Prefer the '73 rear end (with two separate tail lamps) like on the Finland Car.
