I have a new visitor in my house!

They rarely take good care of vets.........while expanding programs to support lazy people. That's the thanks you get for supporting their political agendas via war.

Ramadi has fallen again.........bad news is many died in vain, good news is it does not appear we are going to go back in there.

Our brave Warfighter's dying in vain is a FN disgrace.......and it rolls right off the back of Obama and the A-holes in Washington like it's nothing!!!

Jake, can you pm directions on exactly how to build one or point me to where I could find them on the net? I got a mouse problem that needs corrected.

Mouser is quicker and easier. Though I'd never own one myself.

First you have to figure out what type of owl is in the area, then just search the web for owl house designs. I believe mine is 18x18 with a pitched roof. Needs drain holes in the floor and the size of the hole along with the height from the floor is different with different owls. I built mine out of cedar and put it about 24 ft in the air.

Dang....that was easy!

I've been wanting to build one for Bats!! But very cool you have an occupant for your new house. How do you keep the flying rats...Starlings and such out of it?

A couple of years back when a had an owl in the house, a whole flock of the European starlings surrounded the house, they where all over the thing. One finally went into the hole and never came out. The flock left and never bothered the owl again. I thought about a bat house but they are all over by me.
