yeah, matt im more of a four-wheelin' teetotaler too. All my older cousins were bikers though through the 60's and 70's...I never rode though and now my time has passed for that.

but I was tempted once to get this bike (not this actual one, but one like it) about 20 years ago. a 1983 Honda Goldwing Aspencade which would have been 10 years old at that time.

Anybody know if its collectible?

Dunno if anybody will admit to that :icon_winkle:

Couple questions? This incident was impetus for "The Wild Ones" movie with Brando in the 50's? What are the bikes in the photo here?
The bikes of that era were surplus Harleys and a nice mix of British bikes. Especially Triumphs and Nortons.
A "Beesa (BSA) was especially nice.

I had a Ducati 900Sp many years ago, similar to the Cr version pictured, just with a full fairing. At 100 it sounded like a big block Vette or AC Cobra with side pipes. A real work of art. Another one of the shoulda never sold things I had. Can't keep them all, I guess. Probably the 4 wheel equivalent was the Porsche 930. Several of my friends that owned Mopars were into them as well. One had a RC30, another a Moto Guzzi & a Laverda. Fun times.

Only dusting off this OLD thread cuz helping Commando1 with the "Chart", I found this Canada-only truck.

The Fargo Dude - no sh*t, real name. (It was a "Dodge" in the US)

I like it! Its a cool collectible! Don Knotts the pitchman no less...not quite a "dude" but very popular figure in 1970-71.

anyway, Never heard of the Dude in my LIFE before today, either US "Dodge" or Canadian "Fargo" badged.

Apparently there were Med Duty "Fargo's" too.. who the heck is "Fargo"?

Sorry they are not that collectible these days, even if they are near the zero mile mark.
I have restored a few to new condition and had a real hard time getting my money back out of them.

Here's one I restored back in 2007. I got my money out and earned about $1 for every hour spent on it which was about 250 hours of labour :)

It was a lot of fun to do though..
