Looking at a Hellcat

I'll settle this.
Here you go, Bob. Say no to this one...

Where in Maryland can you exercise a Hell Cat ? At least where you can enjoy it.
I could see having one if living in Wyoming, Montana or someplace with the long stretches of road. Even then not many have the ability/concentration to drive at the speeds these cars are capable of.
Spend the money with one of the driving adventures available and save a bundle. Pay the 300 off and be free of a car payment, not to mention the insurance costs.

And that is good advice. Maybe a good compromise would be to get a 392 SRT version in the same color and save ~25k.

You still shouldn't drive the SRT in under 40 degrees . While cool, almost pointless as Will suggests

I may offend some here but it wouldn't be the first time. These cars are the Mopar version of the Corvette, essentially expensive toys. I'll freely admit to really wanting one but can't afford it. If you can great. If not don't end up like the guy at our last cruise night desperately wandering around trying to find a buyer for his Hellcat because of financial difficulties (seemed to have excessive wear on the rear tires). I'm sure he eventually found a buyer who got a good deal while he maintains bragging rights to have owned one albeit with lowered self esteem. Seems like a hollow exercise to me. My .02.

Bob: The HellCat is really neat and all, but in my opinion, it isn't you. . . Why not take yer cash down to Ft. Lauderdale next weekend and put in a few bids on this car?

Everyone else is gonna be over at Kissimee, so you just might be able to score on this car (the insurance on it would be a lot less too). Hell. . . You could even take Stan along.

Or one hell of a nice forward look car like you’ve been talking about all these years but then you really need a garage.

If you want it Bob, get it.
The 392 car for ~25k less and then go add a kenne bell supercharger for 8k and your right along side without the kitty kat emblems on the fenders.

1/4 mile at a time....

Cecil County Dragway or Budd's Creek. Both are excellent tracks.

I'm confused. Did Bob actually ask for anyone's opinion as to whether he should get it or not?

If he wants to get one and can afford it, by god, let him get it. It's a damn Hellcat. Shouldn't be much argument, other than maybe what he should pay for it.

Life is short, enjoy it while you can.

Bob - Carmine’s offer is very generous and would definitely be the way to get the best price as it is an audited program but it does exclude certain models. A lot of Dealers are dumping Hellcats at the moment so a good deal should be able to be worked out. I actually have been in Bill Lukes store and the online price is good. If you get me a VIN I can get you the Dealer cost

Graham, what is the dealer cost on it.....
