Looking at a Hellcat

Money isn't a problem.....trade the 300 in on it.

IF.........I did get it, I would store it on the Proving Ground when I wasn't driving it.

Rambo wouldn't be able to get close to it....

Graham, what is the dealer cost on it.....

**** just got serious! I love it! Bob, if you've got the money and won't be paying much more than you are paying now, with all due respect, screw your family and their opinions. They'll soon be fighting over which one gets to ride shotgun. You only live once. As for those recommending he dump the money into another classic, there's something to be said about 707hp, all the creature comforts you can think of and a factory warranty. It this instance, push the button, put it in drive and go....really fast.

I'm confused. Did Bob actually ask for anyone's opinion as to whether he should get it or not?

If he wants to get one and can afford it, by god, let him get it. It's a damn Hellcat. Shouldn't be much argument, other than maybe what he should pay for it.

Life is short, enjoy it while you can.

Yes, but. . . We feel we hafta give him permission anyway. :poke:

No manual tranny. I would never spend that kind of insane money for a performance car and be stuck without a stick.

For the fun factor yes but the auto will turn faster ET's at the track. Plus, I don't think the current manual trans offering from Chrysler could handle the power of the Hellcat motor.

F8 in NY, go for it Bob!

Storing a Hellcat... :BangHead:

Well......it has to be parked somewhere.

Here in Aberdeen, as well as the rest of the world.....there are low life thugs. It would be impossible to keep a Hellcat secret and just throwing a car cover over it wouldn't be responsible ownership. and wouldn't be for a $75k Forward Look either. I would have 24 hour access to it on the Proving Ground (one of the most secure places on the planet) and park whatever I was driving and take the Hellcat out.....If I bought it.

I'll even go as far as to say that there are some (not all) owners that could double as gold chain wearing Corvette guys.

I would have to start a new thread on where to get a suitable gold chain(s). LOL!
