Trouble found!
I began to notice the lights would start working when the car warmed up. When they began to work today I was able to coax intermittent contact out of the switch, so its the switch after all. Seems that if I run with the headlamps on the switch will warm itself enough to overcome whatever conductive deficiency it has. So I see $250 headlamp switches on eBay, is that what I'll have to pay? Anyone got one?
