I know where one is in a new jersey junkyard. Lenses are the easiest thing to locate NOS and replace

Call me crazy, but this is the one that caught my eye.

You could have a nice one for 1200,- ............

Hope he has the big chunk missing out of the front grille with the turn signals. That's a piece I wouldn't like to have to source.

I have one and many other pieces waiting for the right car.....................................................

This one just caught my eye it is sitting between the 68 T&C and 73 T&C. Those bumper guards are throwing me off. What is this woody?

Thanks Dave I just realized he is loaded with wagons. The one next to the Monaco is a 1970 correct?

This one had me confused for a minute. Then I realized it was a Ford Country Squire. My aunt had one when I was a kid, I remember riding in it as a kid, with my cousin. I don't know what year it is.

The black Monaco has some rust holes in the sills and at least ahead of the rear wheels in the quarter panels and probably behind the rear wheels as well, so it was probably driven for some time in winter weather and Ohio's salty roads. It also has over 100K miles but seems to run (but not well and he just tried it briefly I was told). It has been dormant for over 30 years too, which entails some major work to get it roadworthy. So it will probably be a pretty big project with some significant rust repair to get it really nice. The seller was thinking he would let it go for around $8K, but I told him that is unlikely. Unfortunate, as I was thinking it might be nicer.

Did he return your email first? I never got a response from him. Judging from the Monaco, he will be asking more than what they are worth. Still would like to see some of those wagons in person.

No, he didn't return my email. But I left my name and phone number with him in my email and he contacted me directly. He is visiting a relative today at least and said he would not be home to answer more questions further for another day or two at least. So you will have to be patient or send him another email with your contact number and he might call you as well. He returned my call within about 30 minutes. His name is Brynn, a nice british chap it sounded like. The owner of the cars passed away not too long ago, and he did not pay storage fees for some 4 years, and the deceased's estate owners didn't want the cars. So I guess he paid back storage fees and got the cars that are now being sold. Not sure I got all that correctly as he wasn't 100% clear, but that is what I got out of what he said. In any case, he had a mechanic try to see if some of the cars would start, and he said the 48 Dodge started right up and said his mechanic started some others up as well, including some of the wagons he said. So if you want more information, you might resend him an email with your contact number and he will likely call in a timely manner. Good luck!

What other mopars are available in the pile?

Someone from this forum needs to go and see these cars and report back with photos and a description of their condition. Too many nice and hard to find projects in this collection.

Who is near Cincy?

I recently told someone selling a car that I wanted the car they were selling, she gave me a similar story that is in the quotation. Then sold the car despite my being respectful of her situation. Dont let their position dictate the outcome of your purchase of the car.
