Motor Mounts Constantly Breaking

Glad you found mounts that work for you. The ChiCom mounts are all crap because the rubber compound is inferior.

Dave

EVERYTHING they put into their **** is inferior! Ah, but it gets better: INDIAN CRAP makes CHINESE look GOOD by comparison! Let's be glad they haven't yet got into re-popping MUCH beyond crap rubber biscuits for our rides yet, for the fools here will allow their importation when it happens.

I like what I see on the Dynatec website. I use a chain as a torque strap and have had no trouble with torn mounts in 3 years, but now know where I'll go when I need to replace my rubber biscuits again.

The "Anchor" brand of motor/transmission mounts has been around for ages. Well before they were made in Korea. Sorry to see NAPA was the "other" brand that didn't work too good!

In respect to the NAPA item, wondering if all of their motor mounts are sourced from China? Or just particular part numbers?

Just some thoughts,

I've bought a couple pairs of Anchors. The driver side one lasted a week or 2. IDK which asiatic slave state excreted them, and I got at least 1 of those sets from VatoZone; known for low bidding. Once I put the nice chain on for a torque strap, it hasn't mattered much which crappo biscuits I've bought. The last pair has held up over 3 years now, Deo gratias!
