My 2018 RAM Longhorn

They'd build anything you want as long as they say it comes in a package . Try a sunroof, cloth seats and rubber floors ...

You might get one with a sunroof but I think you have to get leather seats and carpets in some sort of package to get one with a sunroof.

I was with you until the rubber floors. We can cover the carpet in vinyl for around $500 on a SLT truck with a Sunroof.....but my customers seem to prefer the creature comforts as you are well aware of...
In 13 I was looking for a Sunroof quad cab 2500 8 ft bed rubber floor, cloth interior, 8.4 N, roll up windows, manual seats, no air, rear slider, CD player, rear defogger, two tone paint .....

They cant deliver that

That's my point .... then they can't can they?

Part of the problem is the factory figured out long ago that 95% of the builds use xyz wiring harnesses etc so it is cheaper in the long run to build 2 models one with harness A and one with harness B than build the rest of the alphabet to custom requirements. Give them a sunroof and leather group on harness B and base options on harness A. Offer discounts on "Select" grouping so that the Dealer is "encouraged" to order vehicles a certain way. Blame the beancounters...

I know why they do it.
They could just use one harness with various connectors .
They made me be a comfort ***** however. Look at what I wanted six years ago and what I bought this year ...

I did read an article somewhere that a Police Pursuit Charger 5.7L was modified to 400 hp and the top speed was 165 mph.

Still can't catch a Scat Pack.....

I've been witness to several " high speed " chases in the state of NJ.
All of which were the guy being chased out drove the police, a faster car wouldn't have helped.
BUT if there was an officer down situation you could use the 6.4. It's not all about the chase.

I have a question about my 2018 Gen 4 Ram.

I know this is a trivial issue.....

The heated steering wheel quit working on my Ram. I'm pretty sure I know how to operate it. You push the heated steering wheel button and its suppose to stay on for a 80 minute cycle. Well mine shuts off after a count of one second. Any ideas besides take it back to the dealer? It's a 2018 so it's a warranty issue.
