My cousin just saw a 3D printer at OSU at the cost of 1.5 million dollars, it does titanium. The frightening part is the expense is in the titanium dust

Might be out of my budget. :)

Molds like this could be made to cast wax for use in "lost wax" casting and cast the new part in pewter.

Or... use the mold to make a plastic part instead of metal.
