Busted. I just looked at the 15 gallon pressure pot. It is the same diameter so it adds 10 inches in length. I could do about anything automotive in it. Unfortunately they run about $2200 and in 2 years I have never seen a used one.

What about multi colored lenses? Like my 77 NYB has Clear/Amber front markers..

The Formal Imperial/ 76-78 NYB cornering lenses are not multi colored...there are 2 lenses, one orange, glued into the clear. They can be separated with patience without breaking them.

Messing around with some jukebox selection buttons and discovered 55 year old polypropylene plastic can be wet sanded and then buffed to a new like finish. I also grabbed an old car lens and got similar results.

The urethane plastic, I use in my squeeze molds, can be buffed but not wet sanded, also a heavily UV damaged polypropylene lens can not be sanded either, but apparently one which only has scratches can be.

This is a new discovery for me and gives me another option in achieving a better mold and thus a better reproduced lens.

What grits did you use with those? It's pretty much the same process as doing headlight lens's, I'm sure? Looks good.

1500 does the job. A few of the deeper I go back and hit again.

That would be me but unfortunately the product I need to make them out of has been unavailable all year.

There is none of this product to be found anywhere I have searched the internet and I have a local supplier, the manufacturer has taken it off their list to even place a backorder.

The problem is it is not a high demand product. I even bought the next harder product and the tabs broke off. I had already a couple of years ago, tried the softer product and it was too flexible.

We are at the mercy of the manufacturer. What they are making is being sold as soon as it hits the shelves. They have been playing catch-up since this.past winter when the Texas had the power outage, that is where they get their raw materials from.

FYI: Mike and I are working on details to produce Rocker molding clips for my 77 NYB. If anyone else needs the same and want to piggy back on my order, feel free.

If so do you have some available? I am painting my 75 Crown and would like to replace all of the old brittle ones .

I made a mold for them, but unfortunately couldn't find a product which would work. They were either too flexible or with a stiffer product they were brittle and those little "ears" would break off. Sorry.
