Not really, it was offered up to a very limited group and I guess I was the one fortunate enough to see it first and snap it up. The gentleman that I got it from was very generous and really stoked that it was going to someone who really appreciated it and I’m honored to be the one to make sure that it will see the road again.
It looks like Phil Rauch sold/leased it to a leasing company in Burbank for almost a year before selling it to L.W. Rosine in December of ‘64.
I have pretty complete service records for it including a new trans at 94K miles in December of ‘68.
