I have been wanting to get some Imperial pictures... not as good as Mr C's glamor shots... but my best work...

All weekend folks would look right at this and ask "what year is she?"

I spent a little time with a camera shy friend from last year...

She had her own trailer with A/C... all weekend...

Then I curled up with this to snooze on the way back to FL

A pretty good Carlisle and vacation this year. I may not get to spend as much time in the future... but I don't regret doing any of this... just not enough time.

I know what you mean. So many times I get two questions asked, usually in this order...

What is it?, followed by, what year is it?, after standing either in front or behind the car studying it.

Thursday, inside the fairgrounds of all places... some fella came up and complimented me "Wow, Imperial... that's the Cadillac of Chryslers" to which I replied "Nah, Cadillac is the Imperial of Chevies"... he didn't like that as much as I did.
