If all the studs go part way on, just file the hole out. Or tap it on with a rubber mallet. As mentioned above, a picture is worth a thousand words.

I have this problem on a Wiend intake but I think it is the Helicoil I put in is not straight. Those holes do look crooked, if you put a carpenter's square on there lined up on three holes which one is not lined up. Take a picture of that and send to Summit/Eddy

You kept your stock intake? I installed an Eddy intake too - no problems at all. Well, except for mounting the AC compressor.
