New to forum, and pondering a trade for a '66 300

Hi all, new to the forum, and I'm pondering a trade for a '66 300 coupe that's in good shape. What I have to trade is my '65 Chevy 3/4 ton truck, bought new by my grandpa, and love it to death, but I just don't use it and feel like I'd enjoy a classic Mopar more. The truck has a 283 v8, 4 speed manual, well kept. The 300 has been with the current owner for many years, needs some interior work but runs and drives great. 383 with torqueflight. Here is a picture of the truck, would love the input. I think it's time to let go of the truck instead of having it garaged at all times, and never being driven.

I'll always have my memories of him, and I have many more of his things, namely his tools that I use often. The 300 owner is on board, he has 3 other C bodies.

I wish I could keep both! I don't have an extra $7k to buy the 300. I do think the 300 is worth more than the truck.

To be honest, I would bet that in the real world, the pick-up is worth quite a bit more than the 300. You ask on a Chrysler forum and of course, you are going to get responses skewed in favor of the 300. I would do some checking first.

Welcome aboard. Trade for the 300. I love mine and I haven't even had it a year yet, I love the '66 from the interior to the exterior. Does the one you are looking at have buckets or a bench? I am amazed at how many people have no idea what the car is, I think that is true with most of the C-bodies, but they like it.

I kinda like the truck myself, but I love my '93 1/2 ton longbed, I actually wanted a '64-'66 GM pickup before I ended up with the Fury,

it's your choice, I personally don't see a point in asking other people, you will have to live with your choice, not other people, it's about what you want.
