New to forum, and pondering a trade for a '66 300

No. The dome light is on the same overall circuit but not part of the brake/directional circuit itself. Short beteen the two?

Got the brake lights fixed...looks like the switch needed some cleaning.

On the window regulator front, does anybody see the clips I need in this auction lot?

I have to say that I'm not sure about '66 or '65, but the 2932230 is definitely correct for '68 and presumedly, '67. From what I read above, it sounds like the '65 and '66 are different, so I guess that I was wrong and the 2932230 will not work on your car.

In looking at pictures online, I don't think that is the correct part for C Bodies. On my '65 300 the Glass Channel Run Guides are two separate plastic strips per door that are only flocked at the bottom half below the door panel. Each slide into grooves in the vent window channel. The aluminum is crimped at the bottom to keep them in place. This part isn't reproduced but I was able to source a nice used set from National Moparts.

I verified today that '66 is the same as '65.

I still need to pull apart my door. Have a new problem now, the fuel gauge decided to stop working. Maybe it's not grounded well enough at the sender?

Which way is the needle when you turn it on, full or empty?

It's showing empty. It did briefly register correctly when I got the car. Now it's just empty all the time.

Seems like I drive my car goes to empty immediately after leaving a gas station.
