Skirts...yes or no?

Well skirts look good on classics as long as they shine, painted black, and hide no rust or holes in the body. A direct answer is no

I have been debating this same thing with a 1968 Fury III fast top I bought. It came with skirts, but it gives the car a very low and heavy look, and I'm not sure if removing them will make it look like I've lost them. If I installed stainless trim around the wheelhouse lip it would probably be the best option. Depends on the look you decide to go with. Kind of like whitewalls in or out.

I think they look great on trucks !!!!!!!!!

Skirts definitely. The body line continuation through the skirt is essential. Without them, there really appears to be something missing.

The crease line continuation is already interrupted by the front wheel cutout. In my view the no skirts look, especially with this slightly modernized look (rims, blackout trim and lines) is more harmonic.

I say no, your car would look wrong withbyoyr wheels IMO. Always liked the look of your car the way it is.

Edit: didn't read while thread, the last pics look pretty damn good. I'm undecided, looks good either way.
