So I am getting real close to the completion of the '68 Polara, and upon it's completion I would like to find her a new home. This is where the honest opinion part comes into play. From reading a lot of threads, I can see that most of you have been in the C Body/ Mopar game for a while. Now if ya'll could imagine you built this car, or saw this car for sale, what would be a fair selling price?
Here is a mostly complete list of the work done.

Thanks all!!

Original paint with a few dents and dings, but it shines. ALL of its exterior trim is there, it shines too. All gauges and lights work. Two rust holes on the trunk floor, about dime sized.

Under hood: 383 c.i.
Complete disassembly, honed cylinders
New: piston rings
main bearings
rod bearings
oil pump
Summit Racing camshaft and hydraulic lifters
brass freeze plugs
all seals and gaskets
aluminum water pump housing
water pump
alternator
electronic voltage regulator
power steering pump
electronic distributor and control unit
Sanden A/C compressor, condenser, and all under hood components to properly convert to R134
Weiand four barrel intake
fuel pump
fan clutch
aluminum 3 row radiator
spark plugs and wires
all hoses and belts

Miscellaneous new parts:
3in side exit exhaust (IT IS LOUD)
gas tank & sending unit
in dash A/C and heater control vacuum switch
drive line u-joints
reupholstered front and rear bench seats
dash pads and sail panels recovered
Wheels- 17x7 & 17x9.5 Wrapped in Nitto 555 tires 235/45 17 & 275/40 17
lots of new hardware
KYB Gas-a-Just shocks on all four corners
Addco rear sway bar
front suspension bushings, ball joints, and wheel bearings
front disc brake conversion with all new brake components

Work to still be done:

Ok, so all three of you didn't see "I wont clog up this post with a million pics, but I do have several pics of the rebuilding process in my gallery"???

I hope I didn't clog it up too bad :)

Not to many pics there normally actually so when people see a new guy and an add that's not the first thought normally.

Thanks for sharing the car. I'm can't touch most of the rest here on valuing C bodies but it does look like you've done a lot and I like it.

Looking forward to how you finish the interior (love the turquoise) and what you decide do about the finish .. i'd keep it as is or go full Ross plasti-dip on it.

Looks pretty bad *** to me.

Ok well we're not the ones asking for value of our ride. You ask for help then want people to go hunt down your information.. glws.

Thanks man!! It was an original turquoise interior, so I wanted to stick with that kinda tacky/cool look. The seats are the same vinyl as the dash with these turquoise-y cloth inserts.
I'm keeping the finish as-is.

Got any pics of those seats? A lot of Mopar guys love the tacky/cool turquoise btw.

Well I do anyway

Ah I see a glimpse here

I'm thinking new seat covers would look pretty sharp but no idea what they looked like originally or if repops are readily available

The vinyl really isn't that blue, its more of a dark turquoise blue.WP_001228.jpg

Drop dead gorgeous car. Hate the wheels. $6,000.00
You asked. I responded. :D

Heh, I was gunna say $6800. With a range of 6 to 8k depending on buyer. I think 6800 is realistic. I saved the wheel comment for you. Mine was a little mo% harsh.

It was titled "Honest opinions" so that is what I want to hear, no matter how harsh they may be.
I am a little surprised the wheels aren't getting much love on here, all the people that have seen the car here at the shop really like the look of them. I guess it is one of those love em or hate kinda things. Thank you to those who have commented!
