Stormer's 73 Imperial Build

My question is: Where's the sanity in needing a twin turbo Grand Sport? There is none. An immoral pissing away of money.
I suppose he juiced it too...

A hundred grand+ for a 1,000 hp is just wrong, wrong, wrong. What's worse? Writing a check to have it done for you.
At least you're open-minded about it.

No nitrous but he did have to add water methanol injection since it was making too much boost for a stock bottom end.

It won't make anywhere near 1000 hp by the way. A stock bottom could never handle that.

Other than extreme racing configurations...I would never consider twin turbo's for street applications.

Now you've totally convinced me he trashed a hundred grand.
Installing twin turbos without making the innards bullet proof is purely for popping the hood to give everyone a boner.
I bet he dropped it 3" all around, Forgiato wheels on 25 series profile tires, and has every stick-on bling from Ecklers imaginable.

Turbos are great for the street.

A gazillion trucks can't be wrong, right Commando?

Nope you probably can't even see the turbos. You can safely add two or 300 hp on the stock bottom end with the right tune. It's all in the tune.

They're also computer governed for 2000 RPM....
Apples and Unicorns.

Absolutely no difference. It's all in the tune. Add fuel & remove timing & keep your IAT's as low as possible ( intercooler + methanol).

There is a 70 polara convertible in California getting a twin turbo. Its a decade long project but should be sweet when done

Sorry, Ross, I'm sticking hard to my feelings on his obscene spending of money on a hunk of steel, er...composite reinforced resin and carbon fiber...to make up for a small penis.
It's the thrifty New Englander in me. You can't take that out of me.
I'd rather he spent $50k on a base C6 and still get 95% of the boner factor from all the 16 year olds, and the balance given to Cancer research or something.

He says he has a huge penis but I've never seen it.

He's actually doing it to make the car go faster believe it or not.

I will now go back to having given up on attempting to reason with you....

Yes. Better we go back to your build. I'll never publicly admit it but I'm actually interested in it...

Holy crap.
I've got that book marked so I can read it slowly and check out out the pics when I have plenty of time.
Thanks for that link!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That looked like a cool project. Detailed progression with sharp pictures. Nice!
