Stormer's 73 Imperial Build

No hoopty. Low rider.

Ive seen a bunch of cool 60's Cadillac low riders but I can't recall ever seeing a Chrysler. I'm gonna show them GM boys how it's done.

HAHA, you need to expand your comfort zone....

Well, the RideTech kit that I'm gonna put on it has 3 preset heights so I'll put it all the way up if I ever get the chance to show her to you. ;)

Hoping for Mopar Nationals 2014.

You're right, I'm not wasting time & the build is underway. I should have the 6.1L by the end of the month & I'll have quite a bit of free time this winter (I hope).

I spent a BUNCH of time on RideTech's website today & I can probably fill in the blanks with one or two phone calls to their tech department. They have a self-contained plug & play setup that is real slick. Real nice 4-link setups & tubular control arms. Really nice stuff, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Stormer, I totally disaprove of your plans but I totally admire your balls to do it and maintain your humor while taking the brutal heat.
PS: The lack of pics is your most serious offence here. Up your street cred with some cool photos, ok?

You might want to be certain that they make coilovers for a car that clears the 5000# mark.

BTW I'm only a couple years ahead of you. When I hear a forwarning about putting subs and a "system" in their vehicle, it makes me cringe, as the first thing that comes to mind is schitt awful Rap music.

You guys are hilarious. No purists on this sight, right? HAHA

I am apparently not smart enough to upload photos so I need a tutorial. I prolly shouldn't have made fun of commando's how-to video. ;)

Air bags, not coil-overs. No problem for a big girl.

I love music & love many different types of music but I'm not a big rap guy. I do like some hip-hop but mostly rock. As I said, the new Van Halen & ZZ Top albums are both pretty good. Rock is unfortunately dead as far as anything mainstream but there's still TONS of great new music, including rock.

Money aside, I'd go airbags in a heartbeat. I don't consider that a mod but a major upgrade. A gazillion tractors and trailers can't be wrong. The cost/benefit ratio for cars does suck though. But Stormer isn't even wincing at 10 grand on wiring alone so....

Oh, I'm wincing, don't get me wrong. This build is a very high priority for me & my wife has literally agreed to stay in a house that's too small for us so that I can run low 10's in my Challenger & build a bad *** low rider.

Then you have a good woman there....Don't piss her off too much. Maybe spend a little on some shiny rocks to keep her happy...;)

Although she loves shiny rocks too, my wife's thing are shoes.....lots and lots and lots of shoes.

You may want to rethink at how you view us all...
The beauty of this place is there is no one size fits all despite the well justified anti-hoopty sentiment here.
