That's Polara71's interior on my garage floor. :icon_tongue:

Alright, it's time to get serious. I'm hoping to remove the front clip this weekend so that I can yank the 440 & get going on the suspension.

Advice or tips please?

The obvious..........when taking things apart keep the nuts and bolts together for each individual part in a separate container/baggie. When I take a piece of metal off I like to hang it, doors, hood, fenders. I hang it to keep it off the floor so it doesnt get damaged, because it will.
Dont throw anything away, regardless of condition. You do not know if you will be able to replace it or you may need something to compare a new part to.
Did I mention to take a lot of photos.........Not just for us, but for reference.... Many of those parts have part numbers on them.

Thanks Polara. I will take lots of photos & I've already started bagging every little piece & labeling it. Photos are a great idea though.

How about stuff like, remove this bolt first or it makes this other one a pain in the ***, etc.? Anybody?

Commando PM'd me a picture of his actual car, not that POS with the ridiculous hood scoops.

Well I'd start With the hood, then move onto the front grille assembly, then the front bumper. Once those are out of the way you should probably pull the A/C condenser and all the A/C hoses, then the wiring. Move onto the front fenders then, might be able to get the front fenders AND inner fenders off in one piece? But I would probably take them off separately. Rad support will need the rad removed, and then onto the motor and tranny.

Make sure you take pics of the disassembly process from many different angles, and as you progress. I have hundreds of photos of the work I've done on my cars. And many a time I've had to sit in front of the computer to try and find one that shows that "thing" I can't figure out.

Good advice, thanks.

OK, so what's the pasta/bananas thing?

Me too, needed half an hour to get that porcupine/corvette joke, not easy being German.:)

My daughters are 8 & 11 but I've never heard of that one.
