Stormer's 73 Imperial Build

You like it loud and banging, I like it clear and crisp. I want to hear the notes and the vocals. Lets be clear on this, you like quantity of volume, I like quality of volume.

Incorrect. When I got divorced, I left with my clothes & my stereo.

Almost every genre of music that you could possibly name includes bass. Bass guitar, bass drum, etc.

Quality & quantity.

All we ask is you don't keep it blaring while at the gas pumps and we're all cool with it.
no problem there.

Wow! I had forgotten about Jerry Reed.

I had to pay alimony for 4 years but that was over 10 years ago. I'm over it. Definitely worth it though even if I would have had to give that crazy ***** every penny. Still worth it...

Me too, I've been with my current wife for 12 years. Ex-wife, not so much....

I'm in a different camp all together when it comes to a stereo. I never turn mine on! When driving my old cars, or newer, I prefer to just sit and enjoy the music the vehicle makes...and when that gets a little tiresome, I drift into my head and ponder projects for my vehicles.

But $10K for a custom top to bottom wiring system!!!...maybe that is a fair price and is what it goes for, but not sure if I could stomach paying that.

My hearing is shot to hell. Seriously, any difference between an FM mono and a Harmon Karden system is a waste of money on me. In the truck over the years, I never turned on the radio or the CB. I preferred to just stay in my own little Zen-like world and enjoy the journey. Even saw a huge oak tree gracefully fall in the woods once while it was snowing. It didn't make a sound....

I don't do well with silence. I really need to work on it.

I never listen to the radio in my car either (it still has the original w/ speakers in it!). I like listening to the sounds of the car.

Try it. Calm down, chill, say FTW, and avoid obsessions with anything. Nothing should REALLY matter except protecting your loved one and having a roof over your head and food on the table. Even if it's a shack and a Spam sandwich.
I once thought the end all, be all to my extreme, ultimate happiness was to custom order a new C-6 Corvette. Biggest blunder of my life but also the most valuable lesson i ever learned to take me through the rest of my life. Every time i think I "need" something, I look back at that Corvette. What an idiot!! Not for buying the car but for thinking what would bring me true happiness.

I'm much the same way while I'm a work....I once heard a bunch of trees coming down though. It was an Ice storm one winter...had the windows down for whatever reason, and heard the trees start to snap and crack. Got on the brake and managed to bring my truck and trailer combo to a stop just a few feet from where the 3 giant trees fell across the road right in front of me!

How would you know?...........

I think we all could learn something from that tree, as I have never seen anything fall gracefully before. I've seen cats make some good recoveries, but the fall looked like the typical "Oh schit".

Keep in mind that I'm bringing this thing back from the dead.

X2..........
Good thing you boys don't have to ride in it. I know you're a bunch of codgy old men but gheesh....

HAHA yea, I'm the least codgy....

Not dead? Are you kidding me? This thing is such a POS that I'm probably the only guy on the planet who would spend the cash to restore it. It will be worth probably 25% of what I spend building it.

Sooo, you boys should cut me a little slack. ;)
