This car is killing me.

Thanks Bob, I know I read that, probably inHemmings Muscle Machines but I cant retain Ford knowledge

I normally don't know crap about Ford's. At last Friday's cruise at Lowe's, 3 revival editions of Marauder's parked side by side next to me. They were telling me about the first two generations. If I go again this Friday and they show up, I'll post a picture of them.

Test drove the revival Marauder when they came out. Had a '96 Impala SS at the time and was thinking of trading it in towards one.
After the test drive it was an easy decision to keep the SS.....
That's when it dawned on me why the State Troopers would only let their aging Caprices be pried out of their cold dead hands before moving into a new Crown Vic.

Didn't Law Enforcement have a big problem with the Crown Vic's fuel tanks exploding from rear end collisions?

I remember reading all about that crap.
In my opinion 1% factual; 99% media bullchit.
Like the Audi unintended acceleration. $%%# Media.
The crown vics are part of the same basic Panther platform which goes back to 1979. I think in 33 years it's proven itself.

The Audis only seemed to accelarate unintentional in the US, never heard of this in Europe, not to mention these "unsafe at any speed" Corvairs. Simply have to follow inflating and manual instructions.
