Trans cooler,..cooler lines WTF...!!

I've had several 80's Mopars that had factory hose connections to the radiator. Just a short 6" section at the end of the steel tube, most likely to eliminate cracking from vibration.

You are right. They were installed just for that reason.

You are right. They were installed just for that reason.

I've seen those. I did note that the hose was not jus simply hose but reinforced hose similar to the front brake flex lines and with crimped fittings.

The new cooler is in and it's much better than the old one. It's a nice cooler with all soldered joints. It's big, but the trans will like it..! Happy with the outcome. On to the next project...!! ------->

Thanks Stan. It is big. 21 inches long and 11 inches wide. 6 rows 1/2 inch tubing. No more heater hose...LOL.
