Hi everyone . Just re fitted trans after rebuild and now all the shift points are wrong.
Just reconnected the linkage as it was when I removed the gearbox.
Is it because there isn't enough fluid?

Check fluid with engine running, trans in neutral??

What about the throttle linkage (some wrongly call it kickdown). Has that been adjusted per the FSM?

What engine and trans?

Like Big John said, more info needed. What transmission are you using, what are the shifts points (to high or low), what did you do to the transmission?

We can probably help you but need information from you.

BTW welcome to the forum.

In the actions done to the automatic trans, was it just a "seals and frictions" replacement OR were some other things done to hopefully "make it better

If the "normal driving" shiftpoints moved up or down, that's a linkage adjustment, usually. IF the WOT shiftpoints changed, that usually is in the governor itself.

As noted, "more info needed" as to car, model year, engine, modifications of engine, etc. Correctly checking the HOT transmission fluid level is always important, aiming more toward above the "ADD" line than at the "FULL" line.

Please advise,
