TV/Movie Cars...

This thread got me wondering about the Cheech and Chong vehicles. I did some googling and I was shocked to see they are still touring! I must see them again. I want to drag Gary with me to show him that Columbus didn't discover the new World in 1970.

I have to say they never caught on to me, maybe it was the German synchro or the fact that I was the only one in our Group that watched These movies unstoned.

I'm not sure half the people here didn't get the jokes.

Growing up in the 70s and 80s the cars for me were the General Lee, also Bandit's Trans Am. Magnum's Ferrari. Starsky and Hutch's Grand Torino, Dan Tana's T-Bird. Oh and almost forgot James Bond's Lotus amphibious car.

Too many cool cars from the TV and movies of my youth. I cannot pick just one.

So true for me too.

I watch old movies and old TV shows just to see the cars of that day that were everywhere on the road during my younger years.

Seeing all these photos makes me wonder if Dodge was a bit of a player in sponsoring the shows......:idea1:

My person favorites are the Mad Max cars(nothing but bad ***, if you piss me off I'll run you off the road attitude) and the Batmobile for fantasy cars.
The Cuda ragtop Don Johnston was driving is sweet!

I saw a Batmobile replicar driving along the highway last year in NC it was hard to miss even though it was driving the opposite direction.

My list is pretty long. I loved the old semi trucks, BJ & the Bear K100 Aerodyne, Moving on W900, Blue Mule Wt9000. On the cars, of course the Bat Mobile, 69 Charger, the Gumball Rally cars, especially the AC Cobra. Anything on Miami Vice, but one favorite was Cannonball Run.

"The Friends of Eddie Coyle" is one of my favorites.
Shot in the Boston area (proper accents) but mostly in and around my home town (Norwood, Dedham, and Sharon, Mass.).
Lot's of Mopars.
