U-haul trailers

Too all, it seems now U haul will allow our cars, mine anyway on their trailers. Not sure what changed.
First time I rented one, I "hauled" a Dart. Now any car I want to tow is allowed. I thought it odd.

Ramchargers BARELY fit. For whom it may concern.

I don't know about any law suits! And if they're that bad to get sued, then why are they still renting them at all??? Seems oxymoronic to me!
Of course it does. The trailers like the rest of their fleet have been updated and greatly improved. It used to be in many areas U haul wouldn't allow you to put certain vehicles on their trailers, our C bodies for example. Other areas would allow it. The reason for not allowing it was the car was too big or too heavy. If you overload their trailer and they allowed you to, its on them. If you did it on your own, it's on you.
A sound presumption would be their trailers are now much stronger and durable.
I've towed half a dozen C bodies on a U haul trailer, no problem.

I've done it a few times too, I've never had a problem except for getting them to change out the bald-*** tire that they wanted me to drive/tow on!

All the trailers I've rented have been in good condition with new looking tires. The straps at the front have been kind of sketchy a time or two. I've had two times where I had to check the straps and tighten, or actually put them back over the tire.

Ive had that same issue several times. Frustrating and scary, when you stop and think about it.
