Unofficial ACN Carlisle thread

Not when their billboard says 2,169 actual miles......

I wouldn't have a problem putting another 25k or so on over the next twenty years, and you'd hardly notice a difference in condition. Only real danger for such a gem is a collision. Just came home from buying a used VCR a couple of towns further from home with such a survivor which is the only unrestored model known in existence.

Vcr????????????

I don't intend transferring 300 video cassette documents/films of mediocre quality on DVD when I can have a perfectly working used VCR in the box with all that it came from the shop for 20 bucks.
Forgot to check if it also plays the NTSC VHS from the US though.:BangHead: I'll get to know it soon.

........ My convertible had 47000 when I got her nine years ago.. no trailer.

Dads has 32000.... both will be driven in

My NYB had 41,000 miles on it about 3 years ago, it has 53,000 miles on it now.....about half of the miles I put on it was done in the last year.

thats the point. Some survivors are trailered but many most are driven in..... NOt the 3200 mile RR but the 10000 mile 75 Chrysler ...is

this will be the 1st time I took a car into Carlisle, I am gonna bring it up on Thursday and I could not get advance Registration. So they told me to go to gate 3 and pick up the stuff. What would be a good time to show up because my wife cant pick me up till around 5 because of work. I have no idea what I have to do for this registration. OH and pray for me, I am letting her pick me up in my new Challenger. I did not think it would be cool if she drove her Jeep Patriot :eek:ccasion14:

Its all cool Mr Mopar. You are not going to drive it back and forth?

I am uncertain what time the Main office opens. With pre registration you can get in there anytime because you have the sticker and paperwork. I have been there before on Thursday morning before they started sending out paperwork in the mail and we had to wait until 9 or 10. . . I would call them Friday or Monday and ask.......

I registered both cars this year and will probably only take one, perhaps I can work something out with you where we put the sticker on your windshield just to get in

That would be cool, but you paid 55 bucks for that space. I already paid i just have to go to the gate first. You are the pro here. I was thinking about leaving York about 1 and its about an hour away, I know there won't be much to do. OH and Mr Mopar, thats cute I have a 03 town and country too . All kidding aside, you guys are a very good source of info. My number is 717-309-5014

If you are going in Thursday afternoon at 2PM You'll be fine. Go to gate 3, you'll pull into the lot on the left and go into the little house they have there and check in, just like a motel. Then you'll drive out to the field, you do not have to park in class until Saturday, though I always do.

You can put an EZ up tent towards the rear of your spot and lower it at night when you leave. Have to be considerate not to infringe on the row behind you. It kind of reserves your spot and eliminates the pain in the *** of putting up the tent every day.

I will follow your lead, I will not be there Friday and will bring it home Saturday evening. I really am hunting like Indiana Jones for an antenna because you willl see how the one thats on it pesters me. Can not think of anything else I need, I will talk to you there Sir

If you do that you MUST be certain that no storms are coming through, if they are then take the canopy off before you leave. Also be certain that you stake it down well, I also use the leg weights on mine....... I also carry a ball peen hammer in my tent sack because Carlisle is one big rock

There is a vendor there that sells reproduction antennas, dont know if he has one for your car and they are pricey but man they do shine

I still have to check my tent to make sure I have all the parts and stakes...

if it rains, it rains. not much you can do about it but I am sure you know how many shelters will fit in the trunk LOL
