You guys will see what I mean about the antenna that is on it, you would be like me and say WTF. they put a strait antenna on it and took channel locks and bent it so its strait. Pretty hidious, its the only thing that bothers me on the car

My antenna was bent on my convertible, had a slight kink in it. Fratzog ( Fred ) gave me one out of his garage ........Thank You Fred

The weather forecast is pushing the temps down to the high 80's for the show as of today.

warm days and cool nights??? How do we deal with it. There were actually plenty of stays that we have had to have the heater on and the windows up when we left the motel. The nights can get cool

Yep, dead center in the fairgrounds.

I take it back, that is not where we have been the last few years. It is not a bad spot but its not the best spot.

Last few years we have been in the red field location, where the B bodies are this year.

I have a feeling that is not gonna be enough room.

OK guys what's the plan for meeting up? Do we have a meeting place and time set up or is it just gonna be by chance? I'm a Carlisle "Virgin" So I'm hoping you veterans show me the way.

Chris..... I plan to arrive around mid day on Thursday and will be setting up my area on row N (# 84/85/86) in the vendor area. After that I'll likely wonder around and then locate the C body show area on Friday. Sounds like most of the guys here will be either there or with the 300 club area. Look forward to meeting you .

I will be leaving home by 5:00AM on Thursday, should arrive at our favorite Carlisle diner at 7:15 and be on the C body field at 8:am. Both of my cars will now be going and dads 73 will also be there.

A good way to locate the C body field for those unfamiliar would be its in front of the Grandstand. Look at the map.......Grandstand, Manufacturers Midway, C body field, then E bodies.

As noted there will be plenty of water, soda pop and Gatorade for all FCBO members at my tent in the cooler which sits behind the car. Please, help yourself.

I also just thought , On Friday or Saturday evening it might be fun to get together at the local steak house Hoss's . A table for twenty can be arranged ..........

Saturday evening at the fairgrounds they have the Miss Carlisle contest and the burnout contest, usually starting around five so Friday may be a better day if anyone is interested in a FCBO steakfest

I believe that is the general area where I was parked in 06. I see we are grouped with 3 other categories. I plan to be there between 7-8 am this year. I am leaving on Tuesday after work, around 11:30 am. I like to take 2 days going out, then drive back on Sun (11 hrs on the road).

We have been just about all over that field......Thats not a bad spot but I am wondering where they will fit the C body classes and the 300's.

I saw chance of thunderstorm Thursday and chance of a PM shower on Saturday on channel 8 in Lancaster tonite, summer storms do not last long in Cent PA. It will be OK but it is gonna be hot as heck again, oh boy :Groaner:

I can remember some real down pours when I lived in York...and Carlisle.
