It's an 800 mile road trip for us via the entire length of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Sky Line drive and we're really looking forward to it. I'm allowing 2 1/2 days for the trip.
Nice! I hope you both enjoy the trip!
Probably next year I want to head South on Skyline and then the Blue Ridge Parkway. I've never been on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Tallhair. Matt and I have already talked about caravaning but the Batwagon has been in Reading, Pa. since last September and I've been collecting beer canz all winter just to pay the ransom. We probably will caravan back to the Motor City if he doesn't want to leave before dawn. Oh and Polara, Interstate I-80 in Pennsylvania=307 miles, in Iowa=307 who knew?. Just one of those little insignificant bitz of S*** I've picked up in my travels while doing laps around the country, Jer

Ah .. I'll be living it up in beautiful Branson, MO that weekend instead .. Whoooopie. Actually looking forward to just getting away for a while.

I'm near Syracuse, NY.
We went to Branson on vacation a couple years ago. It was a great time... took the night train (sleeper car!) out of Syracuse to Chicago, then to St Louis. Rented a car and drove the rest of the way. We stayed on Tablerock Lake. It was one of the most fun vacations I ever had.

Hmmm Carlise is almost 8 hours from me, planning on trying to make it next year, my Fury will be wearing paint by June, so hopefully by then Angel will be up to making the 850 Mile round trip.

You don't need a car to enjoy Carlisle! I've been going on and off for years and I've only taken cars twice before.
