Unofficial ACN Carlisle thread

Nope, Brice Rd. is not awesome. It's not the greatest part of town these days. Hasn't been for a while now.

Do the car show cars still go there though? I wasn't really talking about the street other than that's where the cruise was at in the evening. Cops were everywhere but as long as people keep the burn outs very limited in duration and occasional there were no issues

I always hear people talking about how cool it used to be.

Um, did I miss a thread about a 67 Plymouth?

They say the action is in Heath now and the police pretty much turn the other way, dont know how true that is.

Last time I was at the Nationals was ten years ago ( holy smokes has it been that long). The Red Roof in was amazing, three burn out pits and thousands of people in the balcony's and the parking lot brice road002.jpgbrice road003.jpgBurnout at the red roof 124.jpgBurnout at the red roof001.jpg

Unfortunately these are the only four photos of the Red Roof I have on the computer. The crowd got huge after dark and the amount of cars was mind boggling.

The last time I was there they had the State Police, County Police, Local Police, K-9 Units, Baracades and they were pulling people over left and right. I can remember seeing a pick up truck with a 55 gal. drum in the back dropping water on the street for burn-outs, it was very crazy.

Looking forward to another great car show and this is always the highlight of my year. This show is great and every mopar fan should experience it. Once you have you are hooked for life!

Why you no road trip in with Matt or other Northern guys?

I was going to mention that the Flight 93 Memorial (9/11 Heroes) was just down the road (west) of Carlisle on the Pa Turnpike. It's actually 115 miles west of Carlisle.

I'm fortunate that I don't live anymore than 2200 miles from Carlisle! If it was easy it wouldn't be as special, right?
