I have checked the local auto parts stores but they are unable to provide this part. I am looking for the whole apparatus including the float. I checked Rock Auto Parts and they don't carry this item but they do have the gasket and ring. If there is someone who has found a supplier for this part, would you please provide me with your source? Thank you for your response.

This is for a 1970 Chrysler 300.

When you DO get a replacement, DO ensure the lever arm with the float on it matches the length and bends of the OEM sender. Many have posted of their new sender not reading correctly when it is installed. Plus ensuring the special hose clamp at the sender is replaced with a new one or "made work" by grounding it to the body with a wire and screws, etc.

Just some thoughts,

My comparison of the FG148A with the stock I removed. The float arm etc. was the same and matched nicely.

Earlier this year I ordered FG148A from Rockauto, unfortunately the package went missing so I got a refund (re-order not possible due to no stock). The problem then was finding another one, everyone seemed to be out of stock or crazy priced with shipping. I wound up ordering from eClassics, but it was not the FG148A from Spectra. It will be installed in a new fuel tank from Spectra.
