Way to buy, spend a little more up front, spend more time driving/cleaning/maintaining. Speaking of maintaining don't forget to re-use the old tanks gasket and lockring on the sending unit. Drums should also be adequate, given the shoes are good and adjusted properly. Beautiful car!

Thanks for your input on the car and the tank gasket and ring. The owner did not give it away. He knew what he had .We both came to a number we were both happy with. I feel it was a good honest fair number for both of us. What do you all do about insurance? Called a classic Ins company . They basically said you could only drive to club meeting and car shows...sheesh!!

Here is the fender tag and a trunk pic. Spare is original to the car on a 14" rim. Too bad about the overspray but it doesn't bother me at all.

I am sorry the tag is upside down,,I don't know how to fix that.

Finally my Fury was picked up a day late from the previous owners house. I could get it today or tomorrow. She is a big girl!!

Just catching up on old threads, wow what a sweet Fury!! Love the color AND that top. Congrads!!
PS It's great the original air cleaner is still present, nice looking engine bay.

Thanks ! As you can imagine I am very excited. Haven't driven anything this big since I had a 72 Fury III 4 door in the early 1980's!! Yeah that air cleaner is a keeper for sure. She will always wear it.

HEY !

the driver side wheel studs are probably LEFT handed... just sayin...

i will always recommend ralph @ ECI brakes - tell them we sent you.

I had a 66 Coronet as a kid and remember the passenger side was reverse thread I think. Or was it driver side?? I was wondering if the Fury car was the same.
I have been thinking of upgrading to front disc brakes. Does Ralph@ECIbrakes have a website? And thanks for the tip.
