I was able to pull the intake manifold (and heads) without removing the AC compressor.Biggest part of that job is getting the a/c compressor off!

Heavy for sure, Its like unbolting a Harley V-Twin off the motor..
Mine is much larger, either way same concept..
Appreciate it Vlad, yeah certainly too hot to really work on it, but I can’t leave her in pieces. I’ll get on it this weekend and get it back up. Update the pictures when I’m done. Having seen you’re a New Yorker, it doesn’t need a damn thing. I wish I get own it, but.Nice job John !!!!
Took a look at my NewYorker this morning, went out side, came back in to sit in the AC, and that’s all for today

Ouch.. glad your Ok otherwiseA few weeks ago I took the passenger side rear tire off to see why it wouldn't release the parking brake. Seems to have been overly tight somehow. Drum at 11.0" and shoes at 11.0" so I closed the shoes down to 10.9 and slid the drum back on. Check the emergency and it released. Put the tire back on to give it a couple of spins to check for drag and stupidly let my right hand go farther around on the third spin. With the car lowered to the jack stand there was less than a 1/2' of space between tire and asphalt. Pretty much shredded the side of my ring finger. The pain was intense, it was ugly, and my 13 year old ran away when he saw it. An hour to clean with running water, lay the skin back, used dermabond, and then wrap snugly in gauze to keep the skin flat. Probably should have gotten four or five stitches but it was 6 PM on Sunday and I didn't feel like 4 hours at Kaiser Emergency. No right hand for two weeks and then light use. Just worked on checking the Focus brakes this past Sunday four weeks since that.
