What did you do to your C-body today....

Radiator out. Leak at petcock and upper hose connector. Radiator has seen better days. Should I keep and see if I can find a radiator shop to rework this one?

Bolt holes DO NOT all line up. Top left is about 1/2” too low. Part Spectra 332.

I would. A good radiator shop should be able to clean and repair it for a reasonable price. I just had the radiator for my Polara done for $90.

Pm me that info, I could drop it off when I go to Illinois in June, and pick it up on my way back from one of my trips past there.

There she goes with the new owner. A 23 yr old guy that HAD to have her. He’s a mechanic by trade and loves these old Chrysler’s. He lives out in Long Island NY and has paint and body plans since the mechs are all sorted out.. I mentioned our website, so we'll see. Also a Gentleman agreement of “First Right of Refusal” if he ever besides to sell.

Sounds like it's going to a good home. She'll make the new owner happy, that's a great thing you've done.....

Agreed.. I did feel good to hand her off to a Young Man. The next CBody generation. should have seen the look on his face when I pulled the cover off.. THAT alone made it easier..

The last recore I had done was almost 20 years ago and it was close to $200 CDN. The core alone is more than that now. That rad is beyond a basic rod and clean.

If it has to look original, get yours recored. I would expect to pay upwards of $500 now depending on how hard they want to bend you over for the core. A full on concours resto by Glenray will likely be in the $1200 range but it will be OEM correct in every way.

The form follows function economical solution is a Champion aluminum or similar.

Finally had a decent day outside with reasonable temperatures. I was able to reinstall my freshly reconditioned power antenna. Works great. I have a video but am unable to upload it. Says the files to big.. that’s what she said!! Lol
