What did you do to your C-body today....

Windlace is in....

Decided to clean up the sill plates. Started to remove the years of oxidation, now to massage all the tiny dents out....

Thanks for the help on my dead car electrical problem. It turned out to be the battery ground cable connection at my compressor frame, worked fine until it didn't. I moved the cable to an exhaust manifold bolt and that fixed everything. I will put the details on my project thread.

Glad to hear you got it figured out.

Drained my gas tank, pulled it and bent the edges over so it would fit better.
My original tank on the upper left side had the flange bent up for frame clearance. My replacement tank did not. I had it in, secured and gas in it last spring before I noticed it. It was pushing it about 1/4” to the right and cutting on my exhaust hanger. Also it hung just a little to low in the back.
Now it seems right.

Also when it was mostly empty I adjusted the float a little. With 2-1/2 gallons it is just below empty now. It was even further below before I started. At about 3 to 3-1/2 gallons it is on the empty line. At about 12 gallons it about at 3/8 of a tank on the gauge. It will be a little more accurate than it was. Maybe with the tank up a little more in the back and the gauge adjusted it will read almost full when I fill it up. Was just over 3/4.

Started on my radiator today after I got the Fury home. Going with OEM style radiator, which arrived last week.

What excites me is I have a Mopar air cleaner on the way, thanks to Wyatt. Right now I have a Holley chrome top on an original bottom, so I am stoked about getting the right one on.

Car drives smooth since I did the suspension.

took apart the whole front end just to make the shocks have enough room to come out

Yeah, I struggled with the first one I put in, the second fell into place after zip tying it!
