Old Man with a Hat
call me crazy but I would much rather have a D200 crew cab then a mustang convertible
best to have both.

I wager I'm the only man here who uses a C body as a daily driver 24/7/365; specifically, my rusty clunker Fury. It is now headed to 615,000 on the clock.
This is our non-mopar, 1959 Mercury Monterey.QUOTE]
I love that mercury. It kinda talks to ya.
Yes she does, that's why she is a part of our family now.
best to have both.
I've had a couple early Dodge trucks and they are very cool... That Mustang is going to ride a lot better.
You run over a dime in the road with an early Dodge and you can tell if it's heads or tails and what year the dime is.
I can't agree to much with that...... My crew cab isn't a limo but really dosen't ride and drive to bad. Not to great for city driving but I bought the truck in Cedar city Utah and drove it 2200 miles home, (North Carolina at the time). i was amazed at how well it rode, never got fatigued. The long wheel base likely has a lot to do with it. Still after 12 years and 35K miles it drives nice. Brakes........ now thats a whole different story.
Probably the wheelbase and extra weight help a lot.
I was never a fan of the manual steering either. I never drove one with power steering, so I can't comment on them.
I always thought using an early body with later frame would be an interesting combo. I bet they will bolt up too.
Love that Maverick! We don't see any of them in the rust belt.
My daily / kid-hauler is an '05 Subaru Legacy GT 5-spd wagon. My toys are my '66 New Yorker and my '91 Toyota MR2 Turbo.
I want a brown, diesel, AWD or RWD station wagon with a manual transmission
In a truck forum there is talk about putting the early (61-71) body on the later frame
Stripped bare-bones '06 F-150 that would be like cutting off both of my arms if you take it away from me. I've yet to wash it....
