When Does It End....

I'm always amazed how these idiots manage to slide through the system and get back on the road.
You don't need a licence to drive. You need a licence to get pulled over.
I would bet that 90% of the people driving the speed limit or less do not have a current licence.

Agree with that. Almost everyone I know drives without a liecense. Guy I worked with said he can't "Legally" get his liecense back for another 28 years.

But speaking of assholes on the road, this happened only a few miles from me.

Arrest Made in Horse and Buggy Crash

It's a tough subject for me, but the other driver involved in our crash in May was a Hispanic female with no drivers license, no insurance, could not speak English, driving a vehicle with a non traceable Mississippi license plate. She then refused treatment for an injured child, and then she, her friend and five children disappeared from the scene, not to be heard from or located since.
Great police work.... HUH..?

These need to be treated like the gun laws if you are lending, selling, registering, or providing cars so that people without a license can drive. You should be held directly responsible.
The police in your case will should have immediately taken into custody released with positive id/license.
I'll leave that there.

Thank you Will, I know that was hard to share.

There really is a big problem when all the enforcement can't seem to keep these people off the road. I'm disgusted by the attitudes I hear all the time from the children. "I saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by switching to nothing". "Never pull over, that's just asking for a ticket." "The car still drove, so I left." I hear these conversations all the time... shame is, none are actually children and the felonies they are committing will not improve their lives.

I play by the rules. I have a valid drivers license. Surrendered my CDL A voluntary when my health deteriorated. I have valid insurance on all 4 of vehicles. They are all safe to drive on the road. One is not up to my standards so I don't drive it on the road.

A gal who worked at my job hit someone on her way to work, she left the scene and proceeded to work. Well a plate isn't hard to read and the victim sure did read. The cops came to our place of employment and got her, and towed her car. She was (is) an illegal, and had no insurance. She went into county for a few days and then went into federal custody. She had been here for at least 10 years but never had a license or insurance. Not sure what happened to her 4 children. There are plenty more still working there. They sure we're on edge for the first month after that went down. Runor is one of my leads provides papers for these illegals. They a come from the same area of Texas, Brownsville, Corpus, some other town, all know each other and it's funny the varying degrees of accents, some can barely speak English but have been "citizens" their whole life. And th it neighbor speaks perfect English, both being Hispanic. I never trust a driver who goes slower than the speed limit.

I have insurance on the Polara even when it's in storage. Cops love it when I have to go through 6-7 cards to find one for the vehicle I'm driving, even had them tell me "that's okay", they know I'm good.
